A $10 registration fee is required for all Adult Participants; your $10 registration fee includes an event shirt, snacks, water, and other goodies, all of which will be available on the day of the event during check-in. Child Participants are free, however, we do not have event t-shirts for child participants.
Your registration fees help cover the cost of your attendance. All additional funds raised support the work of the Jackson County Suicide Prevention Coalition throughout the year. If you’re interested in joining the Coalition, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for meeting times and locations.
If you’re an Adult Participant and you register by September 9, 2016, you will receive an event t-shirt during check-in on the morning of the event. You can wear this t-shirt immediately, or join many of the family teams who are creating their own t-shirts to wear at the event and take the free event shirt home with them as a keepsake. Sorry, we do not have event t-shirts for child participants.
To inspire hope and pay tribute to those we have lost, we invite you to make a sign for the event. Pick up a free piece of posterboard at LifeWays in Jackson starting Monday, September 5 and decorate it with a message of hope or create a memory board to honor someone you love. At the event, we’ll place the signs along the walking route.

What We Do
The Jackson County Suicide Prevention Coalition is a group of individuals who meet quarterly to strategically address the suicide rate in Jackson County. We have sponsored trainings like Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), presented to schools in the community on the importance of early intervention and treatment, and much more. In fact, for every $30 raised, we are able to present at a local school for two hours!
